He was born in Phoenix, Arizona, and received his bachelor's degree in communication from The University of Arizona and a master's degree from Northern Arizona University.

He has been in the business for 6 years covering sports, news, and lifestyle content. One of his career achievements was reporting for the Today Show on their segment called, “Winter Escape” where he got to showcase the beautiful city of Port Aransas, Texas.
