Lone Star EMMY

The Lone Star EMMY Chapter is proud to partner with Journalism Mentors. Since its inception in 2002, this statewide chapter has grown to become one of the largest in the country, serving all 19 television markets in Texas. It includes members from TV-related fields including: news and non-news broadcasting; production; postproduction; education; advertising; and public relations.

The chapter is dedicated to becoming the primary portal to connect professionals and students in Texas’ television broadcast-related and other video fields for networking and career development. The chapter is also committed to encouraging and recognizing high levels of professional achievement through the annual presentation of the prestigious regional EMMY®️ Awards.

Participation in this mentorship program is subject to the Chapter’s Code of Conduct, which prohibits discriminatory or harassing behavior. If you’d like to learn more about the chapter or are a Texas broadcaster interested in joining, register for membership.
